Who I am

I am a scenic artist and costumer currently working in the haunt industry. I have been working in the haunt industry since 2022 where I started as a dresser at Netherworld Haunted House. Since I have been working from Netherworld, I have since been promoted to the ‘midway’ manager, put in charge of the outdoor area between haunted houses where food and souvenirs can be purchased and costumed actors roam. In addition I work in their ‘creature shop’ during the off season preparing costumes and props for the new seasons each year.

Currently a student, I am about to enter my last semester before graduation. I am studying at UNG and am a part of the Gainesville Theatre Alliance, a collaborative theatre department between University of North Georgia and Brenau University. As part of GTA I worked and studied primarily in the scenic department with a focus on set painting and I served as paint charge for two separate shows.

I am a big reader, I especially love reading fantasy, sci-fi, and horror. Some of my favorites include Joe Abercrombie’s First Law series, The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice, and Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir. I enjoy playing tabletop games, among them I play Dungeons and Dragons a lot of Magic The Gathering, and just recently have been dipping my toes into miniature based war games. I am also very involved in the aquarium hobby. I have been keeping planted freshwater aquariums for close to a decade now and have been working part time at a local aquarium store for the past seven years.
