My experience with prop work largely lies in painting, aging, and repair of existing props, though I am not a stranger to building props myself. I am very experienced in working in acrylic paints, FEV (french enamel varnish), EVA foam, and specialty paints such as perma-blood.
Prop hand repaint. I matched the skin colors of this hand to cover up damages and stains, focused on details such as fingernails, and added perma blood.
I took this cheap toy sword, repainted it and covered it in FEV to make it look like an old neglected sword
This sword was broken and unsafe to use due to the support bar being exposed. I replaced the broken tip with one I carved from EVA foam to match. Then I gave the sword a new rusty paint job to match the worn shape.
This piece of vinyl armor got a spray, subtractive sponging, and dry-brushing treatment from me. Then I gave it some perma blood and FEV to the metal rivets.
These are a couple syringes one a pen, the other a medicinal syringe that I painted to look nastly, largely with FEV to be small pocket props for actors.
